If you are looking for fun family entertainment, look no further than Bainbridge! The 11th annual River Town Days Festival will be Friday through Sunday, March 14-16, 2014. Enjoy free concerts, kid’s rides and activities, great food, lots of vendors, an ESPN covered Bassmaster Elite Series Fishing Tournament, and a Kansas City Society sanctioned BBQ cook-off, Flames on the Flint.
Activities begin Friday, March 14, with a bass weigh-ins between 3:30-4:30 p.m. and a FREE concert featuring Crooked Shooz at 6:00 p.m. Flames on the Flint teams will have their grills smoking in hopes of submitting award-winning barbeque.
Saturday, March 15 will kick off with kids’ rides and activities beginning at 10a.m. and continuing until 5 p.m.; armbands for unlimited rides and activities can be purchased for $10 each. More free concerts will begin at noon as Brandon Vann takes the stage, followed by the Michael Miller Band. The field of bass anglers will be narrowed to the top twelve between the 3:30-4:30 p.m. weigh-ins and the Flames on the Flint BBQ winners will be announced. Then at 7:00 p.m., get your boots tapping for the last two concerts of the day. Country recording artists, Jacob Powell and Chris Cagle, will be rocking the stage.
On Sunday, March 16, at 1:00 p.m., the fun starts again. Bluegrass band Midnight Rain will be on stage until 3:00 p.m. and the kids will enjoy bouncing in inflatables and other activities. The exciting final bass weigh-in covered by ESPN will begin between 3:30-4:30 p.m.
