Event Description:
The Business Services Unit of the Georgia Department of Labor in collaboration with the Georgia Employer Committees will be conducting a half-day seminar to empower and inform human resources professionals, business owners and supervisors who desire to operate effectively within the legal climate that is affecting their workplace. 

Our expert speakers will impart information that will foster a new confidence and updated skills that you can implement immediately upon returning your workplace.  Topics include Unemployment Insurance, Affordable Healthcare Updates and a special presentation by Georgia Labor Commissioner, Mark Butler. This half-day crash course will also feature Cherry Rizer, Georgia Department of Labor and Camry Blaising, Northwestern Benefit Corporation.  3.75 recertification credits through HRCI.

Fees/Admission:
Early bird registration for the summit is $35 with a $5 discount for each additional person from the same company. After July 14, 2014 the rate is $40 at the door with a $5 discount for each additional person from the same company. Lunch is included in the registration fee and all fees are tax deductible.  Group rates are available and advance registration is encouraged.  All checks should be made out to the Thomas County Employer Committee.
