The 1st Annual Faceville Tomato Festival will be May 10th, 2014. Our sponsors have allowed us to make this event a reality.  Our goal was to bring awareness of the tomato industry in Faceville and promote community pride.  Faceville has a number of major tomato farms in the area .  By the first of June and continuing till Thanksgiving, Faceville becomes a bustling farm community. 

 The 1st Annual Faceville Tomato Festival will be held at the Faceville Community Store, Faceville Baptist Church, Faceville Methodist Church, and the Faceville Community Center properties - all are connected.  The Festival will kick off at 8AM on Saturday, May 10th with Pastor Robert Johns starting us off in prayer.  Tina Barfield will sing the national anthem.  The parade will start at 9am - lineup is at 8:30AM.  We would love to have you as a participant in the parade - you can ride a horse, drive a tractor, golf cart, bicycle, motorcycle, or vehicle or even enter a float.  The route will be less than a mile so you can even walk or jog it. 

Les O'Berry will be our announcer throughout the day and will be mentioning our sponsors frequently.  His PA system can be heard over the entire event.  He will be talking about each sponsor and vendor and has made it his goal to get to know each one personally so he will talking about them like they are his best friends.

Vendors will be setting up at 6AM and can remain until 8PM.  If you would like to have a booth, please let us know as soon as possible.  Any sponsorship above the Friends of Faceville Level gets a complimentary booth - 10 by 10.  We are asking all vendors to have their spot packed up and cleaned by 8PM - before it gets dark. 

Live music starts at 2:30 with our own Faceville native, Robin Rodgers and The Krooked Kilts - expect  bagpipes, some Celtic Music and rock favorites.   Our second band is Ren Hepburn and Custom Deluxe - country and rock favorites.  Our Headliner is another Faceville native - Les O'Berry and Caliber - rock and country - songs you love to sing to. 

Got kids?  There will be a bounce house, pony rides, train rides, a super slide, and lots of fun activities for the kids. 

Hungry?  Faceville Community Store will be serving our mouth watering famous Ribs, BBQ Sandwiches, and Chicken along with Faceville Fries smothered in chili and cheese.
