The Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee is pleased to announce that the 19th Annual Ag Appreciation Luncheon is scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00am! This annual event is an opportunity for the Chamber to partner with local businesses in recognizing and thanking our agricultural community for all their contributions in growing Bainbridge and Decatur County’s largest industry.
In consideration of COVID-19 and an Executive Order issued by Governor Kemp, the Ag Appreciation Luncheon will be held with multiple attendance options. Honored guests in the AG industry will have an opportunity to pick up their packaged lunch from the Chamber of Commerce and park on the green as well as the ability to watch our virtual program and/or listen in to a live remote on the radio.This new format along could result in higher “attendance” from busy, seasonal farmers as well as offer additional visibility and exposure to our sponsors.
A to-go seafood lunch will be served by Gay’s Seafood beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a virtual program and radio broadcast following. In addition to a keynote speaker and door prizes, an Ag Man and Woman will be awarded and recognized at this event. As a result of the generous sponsorship contributions each year from businesses, this lunch and program are free of charge to those that work in an Ag related field/job and that register to attend.
